Minor Arcana · Cups
Nine of Cups
contentment · wishes fulfilled · enjoyment
Enjoy what you have, you earned the moment.
⬆️ Upright
A pleased figure sits in front of nine cups, arms folded and smiling, and tarot fans call this the wish card. It stands for satisfaction, comfort and enjoying what you have built. Savour it without guilt. Joy is not a reward you must earn twice.
⬇️ Reversed
Reversed, the satisfaction feels thin. You may chase pleasure to fill a gap, or compare your life with someone else’s highlight reel. Ask what would feel enough, then enjoy that.
💞 Love
A relationship with ease and shared pleasure, or being happy on your own terms. Good food, good company, good conversation. Singles can enjoy their own company and still stay open.
💼 Career
A job done well and recognised, or the pride of a finished project. Celebrate before you start the next one. Enjoying the process helps the results too.
👁 Nebu says: say thank you out loud. Gratitude makes the cup taste better.
