A well-off figure holds a pair of scales and drops coins into the hands of two people kneeling at their feet. The Six of Pentacles is about the flow of giving and receiving. It praises generosity, fairness and sharing what you have, whether that is time, knowledge or a helping hand. It also reminds you that receiving gracefully is a skill too.

Reversed, the scales tilt. Giving may come with strings attached, or you give so much that nothing is left for you. It can also be about struggling to accept help. Look at whether the exchange feels fair on both sides.
